Included are Wilder's account book as paymaster in the U.S. Army in the Mexican War; scattered household accounts and letters of Wilder's wife, Sarah E. Hinton Wilder, after his death; and papers of his brother, Samuel Wilder, of Greene County, Ala., including a farm account book, 1876-1880, general merchandise account books, 1885-1911, and other business papers.
